西蒙妮.梅內塞絲 指揮 K合奏團 Ensemble K is a multicultural orchestra led by Italian-Brasilian woman conductor Simone Menezes. Together they release their first recording, Accents, on the music label Aparte. Came from all over the world, its musicians aim to reach out to the original accent of the works they perform, as closely as possible to the traditional music practices. From the beautiful Choros no.5 by Villa-Lobos to the primitive Russia of Borodine's Polovtsian Dances, the aboriginal culture with the French composer Sophie Lacaze, American Music with Copland and Debussy's Prelude a l'Apres-midi d'un faune, Simone Menezes and her ensemble explore the many accents of Occidental music's language, plural yet universal. 1.
