In her extraordinary career collaborating the "First Lady of Song" with the key figures in the Big Band Jazz - among others with Chick Webb and Dizzy Gillespie -, won a total of 13 Grammys and was awarded the 1987 National Medal of Arts. Her unique interpretations of jazz standards can be found on countless American Songbook albums. Ellas enthusiastic about the then blossoming bossa nova and pop repertoire Advanced manifested especially on their albums from the late '60s. As Verve founder Norman Granz in 1969 several of their live recordings compiled on a MPS-album, the choice of the album title therefore fell to Clapton classics "Sunshine of Your Love".
