 Fausto Mesolella: Live ad Alcatraz In December 2013, Fausto Mesolella released 'Live Ad Alcatrez,' recorded live on August 25 of that year at the Free University of Alcatraz in Santa Cristina di Gubbio. Fausto Mesolella is an Italian guitarist, composer, and arranger. Since 1986, Mesolella has been part of the Piccola Orchestra Avion Travel. This release includes his special interpretations of such well known classics as 'Imagine' by John Lennon, 'Amazing Grace', 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' and many more. In the world of classical music and jazz recording, the record label Fonè has for more than thirty years been using advanced techniques, aimed at re-creating the atmosphere of the original performance. Each new recording is the result of an enthusiastic encounter between the art of performance and the art of recording, and aims to reproduce the spirit with which works of the past were executed. This is a pure analog tape recording mastered utilizing JVC 24bit AD Converter with Digital K2, Rubidium clock. This extended resolution CD (XRCD24) from JVC brings the listener higher fidelity and improved audio quality by enhancing the process of mastering and manufacturing compact discs. This XRCD24 is compatible with all CD players. |
